WHAT IS "KEEP IT R.E.A.L?"
KEEP IT R.E.A.L (Resilience • Empowerment • Accountability • Leadership) is a KEYS 2 LIFE program that provides evidence-based youth development, mentoring, intervention, and leadership services through credible messengers. Grounded in trauma-informed care and utilizing evidence-based curriculums, proven intervention strategies, and best practices for working with youth and adults, KEEP IT R.E.A.L. helps participants build resilience, develop life skills, strengthen decision-making, and create a positive vision for their future. Through mentoring, group sessions, school assemblies, workshops, leadership development, and individualized support, participants learn to overcome challenges, recognize their potential, and develop the skills necessary to achieve personal success while becoming positive leaders in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities.
